If you suspect unauthorized activity in your GolikCapital account, notify GolikCapital immediately. You are responsible for promptly reviewing your statements to ensure no unauthorized activity has occurred. We will promptly review your report and help you take the necessary steps to prevent further loss. You must confirm unauthorized transactions and may be required to complete a fraud affidavit.
No. If you share your GolikCapital account credentials with anyone, or if you authorize account access through a third-party application (other than partners on our platform), and that disclosure or access results in loss, the guarantee does not apply. Companies or apps that retrieve, aggregate, and provide account data for financial activities are sometimes called "aggregators." When you authorize an aggregator or instruct GolikCapital to allow one to access your account information, that company and its employees, agents, other financial apps and business partners ("Aggregator Third Parties") will be deemed authorized by you; the guarantee applies only to unauthorized activity in your account. Because activity performed by an aggregator or Aggregator Third Party on your account and data is considered authorized by you (even if they fail to protect your account or data), the guarantee does not apply to their activity.
Not covered. When you allow someone (other than an GolikCapital employee or an GolikCapital company) to remotely access your device or GolikCapital account, activities performed by that person in the GolikCapital account are not covered by this guarantee.
1. "Account access credentials" include your username, password, or any other information GolikCapital uses to authenticate you, and, where applicable, payment devices such as credit cards, debit cards, and checks.
2. "Authorized" means transactions and other activity initiated by you or by a third party (not an GolikCapital employee or company) to whom you have granted access to your account or made such access possible by sharing your credentials or otherwise. This includes any authorization you give to others (including applications) to manage your account, act under any power of attorney or other authority, or access your account information for any reason. Those persons or businesses are considered your authorized agents. "Authorized" also includes employees or agents (whether individuals or entities) of your authorized parties and their activities. This includes activity initiated by your applications, employer, plan fiduciary (other than GolikCapital Bank), investment advisor, third-party plan administrator (other than GolikCapital Retirement Plan Services, Inc.), or their employees, representatives, or agents. "Authorized" also includes activity we consider to have occurred because of disclosure of, or failure to protect, your account credentials by any of the foregoing authorized parties or a third party, including but not limited to downloading of malicious software onto the computer or other device or network of a third party.
3. To receive indemnification under the guarantee, you must promptly report unauthorized activity to GolikCapital. GolikCapital is not responsible for additional or further losses resulting from failure to promptly report unauthorized activity. Reporting timeframes differ by transaction type. See your account agreement, statements, and trade confirmations for details.
